I remember as a kid watching Jack Benny on TV holding his chin.
I’ve using WordPress since August…I love it. It can take five minutes for the initial setup. I like the PHP language for coding. I now have three sites on WordPress. I’m going to have my main page (cirne.com) point to the other vlog and blog sites by pulling the info. from an OPML file (it’s not setup yet.)
My fist blog was with you at Userland, then Homestead, Typepad, Blogware, and now becuse of Scobleizer, I am trying WordPress. Can you point me to an explaination why Robert wanted a web service that uses OPML?
Thanks, this will make my reader’s life easier (RSS/Atom, Ping Back, search 😉
Wordpress Rocks!!! I am using it (for http://www.bitsandbuzz.com) and I would not exchange it for anything else.
yay! WordPress is very cool and very customisable (apart from a few issues I know you’re aware of)…love the PHP and themes, with CSS it’s very easy to mod.
Only issue I always recommend new users is the anti-spam prefs – I’m sure you’ve got the daddy of all spam-block lists, but I have moderation on links since I seem to get a lot of linkspam. Spam Karma plugin is worth considering, altho you can do a lot with WP itself, but on a high-traffic site it might be worth using SK.

I’m just curious why you would go for the hosted version? Instead of hosting it at your own server/domain?

Welcome to WordPress Dave – I think you’ll find that it really is a fabulous blogging platform.

I’m having trouble putting a picture on my blog or even posts. I try to drag it and it never attaches itself.
Thanks,
