    It looks like FeedYourZune will offer good competition for Songbird, once the latter supports portable devices.

    Hmm, given that there is broad agreement within the digital photographic industry that Canon’s DIGIC II image processors are currently top of the pile, this sounds a lot more like marketing hyperbole than an unbiased opinion!

    Personally, I know 5 pro photogs (all with many years of experience), three are Canon users, one uses Fuji’s Pro DSLR, the other is an architectural photographer who still uses film (in cameras that could theoretically suffer from wood worm).

    It’s clear from reviews and user reports that Nikon’s cameras have wonderful interfaces and ergonomics, but all other things being equal, Canon is winning the image quality battle. Given this, the statement quoted above sounds suspiciously one-sided.
